Asian Shrimp and Vegetables with Ginger and Lemon Dijon
Shrimp with Ginger and Lemon Dijon A long time customer, Maureen Taylor, gave us this recipe after trying our Lemon Dijon Dressing and cooking sauce for the first time. Adding ginger to Maureen's original recipe produced an amazing Thai flavour without the spice.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Snell House Lemon Dijon Dressing
- 1 onion slivered
- 1 cup carrots julienned
- 1/2 tbsp ginger grated
- 1/4 tsp salt optional
- 1 cup bean sprouts

Instructions
- Sauté the onions, carrots and ginger in a large fry pan with the Lemon Dijon dressing for about 5 minutes.
- Add salt, bean sprouts and shrimp and continue cooking on medium heat until the shrimp are done and fully pink. You can add 1 tsp of flour or corn starch for a thicker sauce if you like and serve alone or with rice or noodles.
Recipe Notes
Vegetarian option: eliminate shrimp or substitute 10 oz of diced extra firm tofu and add at the same time as the onions & carrots.
Try an assortment of other vegetables or try this recipe with chicken instead of shrimp.
