Easy Caesar Salad

Ingredients
- 1 head Romain Lettuce or 3 Romain hearts
- 1/2 cup Snell House Classic Garlic Dressing
- Red onion sliced in thin rings
- bacon fried crisp and crumbled
- 1/4 cup Parmigiana cheese shredded or grated
- 1/2 - 1 cup croûtons

Instructions
- Break up the lettuce into bite sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl. Add the dressing and toss well.
- Add the onion slices and the cheese.
- Give it a little toss to ensure the cheese is mixed throughout.
- Add the bacon and croûtons or leave them on the side for people to add for themselves.
- If you are a fan of anchovies you can replace the bacon with finely chopped preserved anchovies – but thats up to you.
- This is the North American "Chopped" Caesar Salad. To make the European version, use the heart of the Romaine, cut it in half and arrange whole on the plate. Top with all remaining ingredients and serve.

When all these ingredients combine, your guests will think you have a secret recipe for Caesar dressing – you can tell them it's no secret, it's Snell House!
